CAPA is Growing!

 CAPA has been serving Independence and the surrounding Jackson County area since 1975. Over the past few years, we have completed several capital improvement projects at our Independence location to ensure CAPA is a safe and comfortable place to help children heal.

Those improvements are critical, but what we need now is more room! More room to operate, more room to grow, and more room to help heal hearts and homes.

This September, CAPA will be opening a second service location occupying over 4,000 sq. ft. on the 5th floor of the Blue Ridge Tower in Kansas City, Missouri. This additional program space and increased staff capacity means we will be available to more children and families in our community who need us.
