CAPA is seeking qualified candidates for Intake Specialist at its Independence, MO location. The Intake Specialist coordinates intake services for all CAPA programs. This involves collecting client information over the phone, assessing clients to ensure that they meet the population the program serves, scheduling intake session, completing intake session, and scheduling clients with the appropriate staff/intern for services. This position works with clients contacting CAPA over the phone, as well as walk-ins.

For applicants working towards clinical licensure, this position may also deal with crisis walk-ins and have a small client caseload.

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or closely related field and several years of experience preferred.
