Welcoming new leadership
CAPA board members and staff extend a warm welcome to Rochelle Parker as the organization’s new Executive Director.
Parker recently served as the Vice President of Development at KVC Health Systems, Inc. Her responsibilities included leadership, strategic direction and coordination of short and long-term fundraising plans for both KVC and its subsidiaries. Prior to that, she served as Vice President of Development and Communications at The Family Conservancy, where she oversaw all fundraising, marketing and communications activities.
Upon acceptance of her new role with the agency, Parker expressed her commitment to serve the children of Jackson County. “I am thrilled to be serving in an organization in my immediate community. This is important work. I look
forward to helping CAPA increase its capacity to touch the lives of more children and families who have been affected by abuse and neglect.”
Parker completed her MBA in Management at Rockhurst University, graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Business Administration: Financial Economics from Fisk University, and received a fundraising certificate from UMKC. She has more than fifteen years of experience in nonprofit and small business leadership.
