CAPA awarded $110,638 from AmeriCorps to increase its program capacity

CAPA is excited to announce that The Corporation for National and Community Service through the State of Missouri’s Community Service Commission has awarded $110,638 to support CAPA’s AmeriCorps Program. AmeriCorps helps to increase CAPA’s overall capacity to prevent and treat child abuse and trauma. These funds will support up to 21 AmeriCorps Service Members who will provide access to preventative mental health services in the form of therapeutic counseling, clinical case-management and community education.

On behalf of CAPA’s staff, Board of Directors, and the children and families we serve each day, we extend our sincerest gratitude to the State of Missouri for its commitment to our mission and programs.
