CAPA therapists provide counseling services ranging from individual therapy for children and adults, family therapy and couples therapy by incorporating a variety of tools, including play therapy, art therapy and hypnotherapy. Requires Master’s Level degree or higher.

Case Management

CAPA Case Managers work with families in their homes to offer support, educational services related to child development and attachment, and references for additional community resources. Requires Bachelor Level degree in Social Work or related field.


CAPA’s Administrative Team works together to keep all agency operations running smoothly in order to make a larger impact for the children and families we serve. Responsibilities include front office support, answering the helpline, resource development and overall agency leadership. Degree requirements will vary.

CAPA offers services for the community 7 days a week and dedicated interns make this possible. CAPA is looking for students completing their Masters in Counseling, Social Work or related field to work directly with our clients in providing counseling services for children and families overcoming abuse or trauma.

Case Management

CAPA’s Case Management internship allows students to work directly with families in their homes, providing them with the tools and resources they need for success. Internship is open to students completing Bachelor and Master Level degrees in Social Work or related fields.


General administrative internships may be arranged on a case-by-case basis. CAPA’s Development Department offers internships in the fields of Marketing, Communications, Fundraising and Business Administration at both the Bachelor’s and Master’s level to aid in marketing, grant writing, special events planning and donor communication strategies.
